“Lack of system speed is hampering your developments, but no more with the latest Intel Core i9 processors”
Intel Core processors are for medium to high end consumers CPU’s (Central Processing Unit). These set of processors are developed, produced and are also marketed by Intel Corporation itself. With the introduction of their I series of processors, the Celeron and some other processors have been shifted to the low-end category of processors by Intel. These I series of processors includes Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i9 as of the Intel’s processor line-up in 2017.

Intel Core i9 is the latest brand micro-processor introduction to the I series processor family by intel in the month of May, of 2017, belonging to the high performance series of processors by Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X. These processors incorporates the functionality of a complete CPU (Central Processing Unit) onto a single IC (Integrated Circuit). All the processors of Intel Core i9 series supports EIST (Enhanced Intel Speed-Step Technology), Smart Cache, and all other advanced technologies provided by Intel Corporation in their other series of computer processors.

The capabilities of this series of processor is under upgradations, but some processors have already been launched in the market for consumption by the users, mostly by the developers.

The list of the available Intel Core i9 series processors are as follows –
1) Core i9 7900X – Released on June 2017, with 10 cores, that has a base frequency of 3.3 GHz that can be boosted upto 4.5 GHz, also having a L2 Cache of 10 x 1024 KiB along with a L3 Cache of 13.75 MiB, pricing at $999.
2) Core i9 7920X – Released on August 2017, with 10 cores, that has a base frequency of 2.9 GHz that can be boosted upto 4.4 GHz, also having a L2 Cache of 12 x 1024 KiB along with a L3 Cache of 16.50 MiB, pricing at $1199.
3) Core i9 7940X – Released on September 2017, with 10 cores, that has a base frequency of 3.1 GHz that can be boosted upto 4.4 GHz, also having a L2 Cache of 14 x 1024 KiB along with a L3 Cache of 19.25 MiB, pricing at $1399.
4) Core i9 7960X – Released on September 2017, with 10 cores, that has a base frequency of 2.8 GHz that can be boosted upto 4.4 GHz, also having a L2 Cache of 16 x 1024 KiB along with a L3 Cache of 22.00 MiB, pricing at $1699.
5) Core i9 7980X – Released on September 2017, with 10 cores, that has a base frequency of 2.6 GHz that can be boosted upto 4.4 GHz, also having a L2 Cache of 18 x 1024 KiB along with a L3 Cache of 24.75 MiB, pricing at $1999.

All the above listed processors have a DDR4 type memory support with a max limit of 4 x 2666.

With the introduction of these Intel Core i9 series of processors, the developers have been highly benefited, as the processors speed is way beyond the previous series of processors and these processors are well capable to carry-out multi-tasking processing in a much increased pace and without lagging. The development speed has got a new height of upgradation and more advanced supports for graphics and other aspects.
